Bring Five Alive
The process of completely renovating House 5 to make it ready for a foster family is a major undertaking. The house is 5500 sq. ft. and we are going to be touching every square foot!
We have many serving opportunities available for churches, civic organizations, building contractors, and building materials suppliers. But, with a project of this size, our desire to have a high-quality finished product, and the need for personal safety of volunteers and the foster families living at the Ranch, it is important that we schedule the different groups and tasks in the project.
• If you are a church, civic organization, or business and would like to know more about specific ways you can help with a group of volunteers, please contact us to learn more about these opportunities.
• We plan to set aside specific days for some of the larger group tasks like painting, hanging/finishing drywall, cleaning, etc. and will provide more detailed information to groups indicating a desire to help.
• We also will need several groups with specific skills like framing, window installation, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Our hope is to help reduce the costs for these components of the project by possibly supplying some skilled volunteer crews to function under the direction, or as “helpers” to licensed contractors.
• We have already received significant help from local building materials suppliers but can always use more of this help for ensuring the timely completion of the project. If you fall into this category, or have contacts within this industry, please contact us for more details.
